Pakistani Ambassador to Tehran Commemorates Persian Language Day


Tehran, The Ambassador of Pakistan to Tehran, Mr. Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, expressed his admiration for the Persian language and its cultural significance during the commemoration of Persian Language Day, which also marks the completion of Ferdowsi’s epic work “Shahnameh.”



According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Tipu highlighted the historic and ongoing contributions of the Persian language to the richness of regional cultures, particularly its influence on Urdu. The day’s celebrations underscored the deep cultural ties between Iran and Pakistan, reinforced by their shared appreciation for classical literary contributions such as Ferdowsi’s “Shahnameh,” which has been pivotal in preserving Persian history and literature.
