Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Outlines Relief Efforts and Commits to Economic Stability


Muzaffarabad, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar Haq, expressed gratitude towards Pakistani leadership for their support in addressing recent crises in Azad Kashmir, announcing a significant relief package aimed at stabilizing the region’s economy and aiding its citizens.



According to Press Information Department – Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the recent meeting led by Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister, alongside military leaders, resulted in a 23 billion rupee relief initiative focusing on subsidies for electricity and essential commodities. This package is part of broader efforts to address public grievances about utility costs and food security.



Prime Minister Haq detailed measures taken by his government to combat corruption and improve governance, emphasizing the establishment of a Social Protection Fund and enhancing local financial institutions. He reaffirmed his commitment to making governance transparent and responsive to the needs of Azad Kashmir’s residents.
