Islamabad, Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating lasting peace and prosperity in Afghanistan is set to continue, with Ambassador Asif Durrani, the country’s Special Representative on Afghanistan, leading the delegation to a crucial two-day meeting of Special Envoys on Afghanistan in Doha, starting Sunday.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting, organized by the United Nations Secretary-General, aims to explore more coherent and structured international engagement with Afghanistan. This event underscores the critical role of international dialogue and cooperation in addressing the complex challenges facing Afghanistan today.
The Foreign Office highlighted Pakistan’s proactive role in engaging with the global community, including the United Nations, to bolster efforts towards achieving enduring peace and prosperity in Afghanistan.
