Islamabad, August 13, 2021 (PPI-OT): On this Independence day, Pakistan Sports Board has planned to celebrate with a range of exciting events at Sports Complex, Islamabad and its subordinate offices at Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta on August 14, 2021 with the following sports activities : – a. Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.

1. The day will start with flag hosting ceremony @7:55 AM at Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad

1. Hockey Match (Female) at Nasir Bunda Hockey Stadium, PSC, Islamabad at 1630 hours

iii. Lawn Tennis at PSC, Islamabad @ 1630 hours

1. Football Match at Jinnah Stadium, PSC, Islamabad @1630 hours

1. Chess Championship Azadi Cup-2021 at Rodham Hall, PSC, Islamabad from 14 – 15 August, 2021 @ 1630 hours

1. Futsal (Female) match at PSC, Islamabad @1730 hours

1. PSB Coaching Centre, Lahore Cycling, Table Tennis and Weightlifting

1. PSB Coaching Centre, Karachi Badminton, Table Tennis

1. PSB Coaching Centre, Peshawar Squash and Badminton

1. PSB Coaching Centre, Quetta Boxing and Fencing

Tree plantation and closing ceremony will be held at Jinnah Stadium at 18:30 hours. Honorable Federal Minister for IPC/President, PSB Dr. Fahmida Mirza will grace the occasion as Chief Guest. Media persons are also invited to witness the event and for the coverage of these activities.
