ISLAMABAD: In a bid to curb crime and enhance security, the Islamabad Police has conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in the checking of over 438 individuals. The operations, following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aim to tighten the grip on criminal activities.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, these operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, with oversight from respective zonal SPs. The comprehensive search efforts involved checking 238 households, 28 hotels, 39 shops, 223 motorcycles, and 94 vehicles. Authorities also detained 10 suspicious individuals and 15 motorcycles for further investigation at local police stations.
SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized that these operations are part of a broader strategy to enhance security and suppress criminal elements across the district. The police continue to take indiscriminate action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers to ensure the safety and security of the residents.
