ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, engaged in a telephonic discussion with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, focusing on recent regional developments after the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
According to Radio Pakistan, the Bahraini Foreign Minister extended his congratulations to Ishaq Dar on the Islamabad MoU signing, acknowledging Pakistan’s role in facilitating the agreement. He expressed optimism that the MoU would help achieve peace and stability in the region. Dr. Al Zayani also revealed plans to visit Pakistan soon to personally thank the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of Defence Forces for their efforts in securing a ceasefire.
Senator Dar expressed gratitude for Dr. Al Zayani’s remarks and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fostering dialogue and diplomacy to maintain peace and stability within and beyond the region.
