Riyadh, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, leading Pakistan’s delegation at the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh, emphasized the necessity of establishing a sovereign state of Palestine to ensure lasting peace in the region. The summit focused on the recent Israeli aggression in occupied Palestine and the critical humanitarian situation in Gaza.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister, accompanied by Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and Foreign Secretary Mohammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression and blockade in Gaza. He highlighted that the Israeli forces’ actions violate international humanitarian and human rights law.
