Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has conveyed his condolences to Indonesia following a devastating earthquake that resulted in significant loss of life and destruction. He expressed his sympathies on the social media platform X, extending heartfelt condolences to President Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian populace, and affected families, on behalf of Pakistan’s government and its people.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister also offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured and emphasized Pakistan’s solidarity with Indonesia during this challenging period. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with the “brotherly people of Indonesia,” wishing them strength and resilience as they navigate the aftermath of the disaster.
