Islamabad: Pakistan’s Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, emphasized the significance of institutional cooperation and the exchange of experiences with Bangladesh during a meeting with a delegation of senior Bangladeshi civil service officers. The meeting underscored the mutual interest in enhancing collaboration between the two nations’ training and capacity-building institutions.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister outlined the need for faculty exchanges, joint research, and the development of training modules to promote collaboration. He described the Executive Development Program between the civil services of Pakistan and Bangladesh as a noteworthy advancement over recent decades. Tarar highlighted the shared historical ties and administrative legacy between the two countries as a foundation for strengthening their bilateral relations.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, also present at the meeting, stressed the importance of promoting professional links and institutional cooperation to foster regional harmony and mutual understanding. The Bangladeshi delegation expressed interest in Pakistan’s administrative framework and ongoing reforms in various sectors, signaling a positive trajectory in the bilateral relations between the two countries.
