Islamabad, the government of Pakistan is continuing its efforts to repatriate illegal foreign nationals, including Afghans, to their respective countries. This initiative includes the establishment of transit camps in various districts, providing temporary accommodation for those awaiting return.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, yesterday saw the voluntary return of 3,605 illegal Afghan nationals to Afghanistan through the Chaman and Torkham borders. The government has urged the public to report any illegal foreign nationals in their vicinity to the relevant authorities using the helpline 1700, which also offers guidance on issues related to illegal aliens.
