Islamabad, 03 Dec 2023: The ongoing repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, primarily Afghans, to their home countries is being carried out in a dignified and safe manner. This process saw the return of 2,597 Afghan nationals to Afghanistan on Saturday.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the latest figures bring the total number of repatriated illegal Afghan nationals to 404,909. This initiative is part of Pakistan’s efforts to manage its borders and immigration policies responsibly while ensuring the humane treatment of all individuals involved.
The repatriation process demonstrates Pakistan’s commitment to upholding international standards in handling immigration issues and its cooperation with neighboring countries in resolving such challenges.
