SSP Operations Targets Criminal Gangs and Absconders in Islamabad


ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, has initiated a focused operation targeting criminal gangs and absconders. The directive follows a meeting with officers from the Saddar and Industrial Area zones, with an emphasis on resolving ongoing investigations and bringing absconders to justice.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was chaired by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza and attended by SP Saddar Kazim Naqvi, SP Industrial Area Hasnain Waris, along with relevant SDPOs and SHOs. Raza instructed the officers to conclude cases under investigation on merit and submit their results to the relevant courts. A significant focus was placed on the apprehension of absconding gang members and the monitoring of individuals released in property-related cases.



Additionally, Raza emphasized the need for immediate arrest if any released accused engage in further criminal activities. Officers were also directed to prioritize the arrest of those involved in car and motorcycle thefts and to increase efforts in capturing proclaimed offenders. Raza reiterated the importance of protecting citizens’ lives and property, warning that negligence in these duties would not be tolerated.
