New York City: Pakistan has urged Russia and Ukraine to resume peace talks and use diplomacy to resolve their ongoing conflict, as stated during a session of the United Nations Security Council.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, emphasized the importance of immediately ending hostilities and returning to diplomatic efforts during a debate on the deteriorating situation in Ukraine. Ahmad reiterated Pakistan’s stance, advocating for renewed dialogue as a means to achieve peace and stability in the region.
