Islamabad: Pakistan and the United States have agreed to bolster their collaborative efforts in tackling organized crime, drug trafficking, and human smuggling. This agreement emerged during a meeting between United States Charge D’affaires Natalie Baker and Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two officials also encompassed the broader regional situation and issues concerning peace and stability. Both parties expressed their commitment to enhancing Pakistan-US bilateral cooperation across various domains.
The US Charge D’affaires commended the diplomatic contributions of Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, acknowledging his efforts in fostering peace and stability within the region.
