Pakistan and U.S. to Enhance Dialogue with Upcoming High-Level Visits: Foreign Office

Islamabad, 03 Dec 2023: Pakistan and the United States are set to deepen their consultations on various issues, with several high-level visits from U.S. officials scheduled in the coming days. This development signifies ongoing dialogue and cooperation between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch responded to media queries, outlining the schedule of upcoming visits. Julieta Valls Noyes, the U.S. Assistant Secretary for Population, Refugees, and Migration, will undertake a three-day visit to Pakistan starting Monday. Following this, U.S. Special Representative on Afghanistan Tom West is set to visit Islamabad on Thursday, and U.S. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Horst will arrive in Pakistan on the 9th of this month.

The spokesperson emphasized that these visits are part of the broader ongoing dialogue with the United States, covering various topics including the situation in Afghanistan. The series of high-profile visits indicates a continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and addressing mutual concerns, particularly in regard to regional stability and cooperation.
