New York: Pakistan and Kuwait have pledged to deepen their bilateral relations and enhance cooperation on various international matters of shared interest. The commitment was made during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah of the State of Kuwait. The discussion occurred on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly Session.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the leaders explored the full range of their countries’ bilateral relations, which include political, economic, and defense aspects, as well as people-to-people exchanges. Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the enduring and cordial relationship between the two nations, expressing Pakistan’s eagerness to further enhance these connections.
Further, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his intention to collaborate with Kuwait on economically beneficial investments, facilitated by Pakistan’s Special Investment Facilitation Cell, aiming to foster mutual growth and development.
The meeting underscores a continued effort by both countries to leverage their long-standing partnership to address both bilateral and global challenges effectively.
