ISLAMABAD: DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq conducted an inspection of the ongoing recruitment process for women candidates at the Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad. The visit was part of the 2026 recruitment process for the Islamabad Police, focusing on the physical and running tests of the candidates.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, DIG Headquarters assessed the physical endurance tests, security protocols, and candidate facilitation measures at the recruitment test center. Supervised by SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen, lady police officers administered the tests, ensuring adherence to prescribed procedures while maintaining the discipline of the process.
During the inspection, DIG Headquarters evaluated the candidate facilitation measures, which included shaded tents, clean drinking water, first aid, and waiting areas. He emphasized the importance of conducting the recruitment process transparently and impartially, ensuring that it remains merit-based.
DIG Headquarters stressed that the recruitment process would prioritize selecting only those candidates who are capable, physically fit, and professionally competent. Transparency and adherence to recruitment protocols are to be maintained throughout the process to ensure the selection of deserving candidates for the Islamabad Police.
