Islamabad: A high-level Iranian trade delegation, led by Seyyed Mohammad Atabak, Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, visited the Secretariat of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral economic ties and explore new avenues for cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Atabak acknowledged Pakistan’s crucial support in maintaining Iranian trade flows during difficult periods by providing essential transit facilities. He emphasized the historical, religious, and social bonds shared by the two nations, which have laid the foundation for a robust partnership. The minister noted that the business communities from both countries have presented valuable proposals anticipated to yield positive outcomes. He also commended Pakistan’s steadfast support during wartime, which he described as a source of strength for Iran.

The minister expressed optimism about the future, stating that both nations would continue to enhance their cooperation across various sectors. The visit underscores the commitment to deepening trade relations and fostering mutual economic growth.
