Islamabad, In the presentation of the new budgetary proposals in the National Assembly, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb outlined significant allocations for various regions and sectors, emphasizing the government’s commitment to targeted development and economic expansion.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the budget includes an allocation of 75 billion rupees for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit Baltistan, 64 billion rupees for the merged tribal districts, and 79 billion rupees for the Science and IT sector. An additional 50 billion rupees are designated for the production sector, including agriculture, with a focus on projects approved by the National Economic Council.
