Naseerabad, In anticipation of Eid-ul-Azha, Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad Batul Asadi has emphasized the need for comprehensive preparations to ensure public safety and maintain traffic flow on the Sindh Chastan National Highway. The announcement came during a meeting with local officials, underscoring the administration’s commitment to preventing disruptions and health issues during the festive period.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Assistant Commissioner Ajmal Khan Mandukhel, Livestock Department’s Dr. Sikander, and other key officials, including SHO City Ghulam Ali Kundarani and Babu Asghar Rand, participated in the discussions. The focus was on finalizing all necessary measures to mitigate the risk of the Congo virus and other communicable diseases, which typically see a spike around the Eid festivities due to the large-scale animal handling and slaughtering.
Deputy Commissioner Asadi highlighted the significant increase in market activity during Eid-ul-Azha and stressed the importance of ensuring that such activities do not impede traffic along the critical Sindh-Baluchistan National Highway. The administration is taking proactive steps to manage both the expected surge in traffic and potential health risks effectively.
The meeting also addressed the need for improved coordination among tehsildars and other relevant authorities to facilitate smooth traffic flow and ensure that early morning Eid shoppers face minimal inconvenience. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to enhance public safety and service delivery during one of the busiest times of the year in Naseerabad.
