Islamabad, 12 Oct 2023:The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has briefed the OIC’s Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir, Yousef Aldobeay, regarding escalating human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including the detention of the entire political leadership, such as Yasin Malik. The envoy, alongside a high-ranking delegation, met with Ms. Mullick in Islamabad. In response, Yousef Aldobeay reassured of OIC’s principled stance on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, and commitment to support the Kashmiri people, including their right to self-determination in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions.
