Islamabad: Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, emphasized the importance of implementing the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Alihi Wasallam in daily life as a true expression of reverence. He addressed a Mehfil-e-Naat and prize distribution ceremony at the National Seerat-un-Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Alihi Wasallam Competitions, held in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the Holy Prophet’s life as a model of mercy, justice, and noble character, offering guidance for all humanity. He noted that the essence of Naat is not just in artistic expression but in embodying the teachings and Seerat of the Prophet in one’s life. Addressing the challenges faced by the younger generation, Yousaf pointed out influences such as social media, materialism, and intolerance that shape youth perspectives today.

He urged young people to look to the Seerat of the Holy Prophet for guidance amid these challenges, emphasizing its role in fostering responsible citizenship and community harmony. Yousaf also stressed the need for societal values like brotherhood, tolerance, and mutual respect to be promoted.

The Minister remarked on the collective responsibility for Pakistan’s stability and prosperity, urging that love for the nation be demonstrated through character and duty. Prizes were awarded by Sardar Muhammad Yousaf to winners of Naat recitation, Seerat books, and essay writing competitions at the event.
