Islamabad, in response to orders from Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the “Knock the Door” campaign for the registration of house servants and tenants is actively being conducted by the Islamabad Capital Police. The campaign aims to ensure the registration of domestic workers and tenants across the city, with teams visiting homes to facilitate the process and address citizens’ concerns.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Islamabad has successfully registered data for 133 domestic servants and tenants in 384 houses within the Bara Kahu Police Station jurisdiction. The campaign is intended to maintain law and order in the capital by closely monitoring inhabitants and preventing criminal activities. Citizens are encouraged to verify the identities of individuals conducting these visits and to report unregistered employees and tenants, who might pose security risks.
