Islamabad Police Launches Crackdown on Professional Beggars

Islamabad, The Islamabad Capital Police have initiated a comprehensive crackdown against professional beggars and their handlers in the city, as ordered by ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan. This aggressive campaign targets professional beggars and their handlers, with a focus on curbing the criminal activities often associated with this practice.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, during the ongoing operation, 27 professional beggars have been arrested, and 7 cases have been registered under the beggar act. The police are also targeting parents who send their children to beg, emphasizing legal actions against all involved. The public is urged to support genuine needy individuals and report any suspicious activities, helping the police to eliminate this issue from the city.
