Islamabad Traffic Police Hosts Road Safety Camp for Motorcyclists in Collaboration with Atlas Honda


ISLAMABAD: In a collaborative effort to enhance road safety, the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Atlas Honda organized a special camp dedicated to motorcyclists. At the event, free helmets were distributed and damaged motorcycle parts such as headlights, indicators, and side mirrors were replaced without charge to promote safer travel.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan, along with Director ITP FM Ayesha Jameel and other police officials, attended the camp. They engaged with motorcyclists, distributing helmets and side mirrors personally. The event also served as an educational platform where citizens were informed about traffic laws, the importance of wearing helmets, and safe riding practices to prevent road accidents.



The Chief Traffic Officer of Islamabad also took the opportunity to brief field officers at the Traffic Police Headquarters. She instructed them to uphold professionalism, courtesy, and respectfulness while on duty, stressing that any form of misconduct during enforcement operations would be unacceptable.



CTO Islamabad reiterated that the primary goal of the Islamabad Traffic Police is to offer citizens safe and organized travel facilities, ensure smooth traffic flow, and effectively enforce traffic laws to boost public confidence in the police. She affirmed the police’s commitment to ongoing public awareness and welfare initiatives aimed at promoting road safety and improving the traffic system for all road users.
