Islamabad Police Apprehend Three Members of Notorious “Bali” Robbery Gang


ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have successfully arrested three members of the notorious “Bali” robbery gang, following special directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, marking a significant advancement in their ongoing operations against criminal elements within the federal capital.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrests were made by a team from the Sumbal Police Station, which conducted a targeted operation against the gang. The suspects were wanted in multiple armed robbery cases, where citizens were robbed at gunpoint. During the operation, police recovered stolen cash, valuable mobile phones, and weapons and ammunition used in the crimes.



The individuals taken into custody were sought after for their involvement in robbery and other serious criminal activities. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects confessed to participating in numerous criminal incidents. Efforts are being made to apprehend the gang’s remaining members.



Deputy Inspector General of Police Muhammad Jawad Tariq commended the police team’s performance, emphasizing that actions against criminals who deprive citizens of their belongings will persist. He reiterated that Islamabad Police are conducting extensive operations against organized and active criminal gangs, with the goal of ensuring the federal capital becomes a safe and peaceful city.
