ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) have agreed to enhance cooperation in the areas of culture, heritage conservation, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges, officials announced. This agreement was achieved during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, and SCO Secretary-General, Nurlan Yermekbayev.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting underscored the shared commitment of both parties to strengthen ties and expand collaborative efforts in these sectors. The discussions emphasized the importance of cultural exchanges and tourism as vital components for fostering mutual understanding and regional integration. Minister Khichi reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to the objectives and principles set forth by the SCO, highlighting the potential for growth and development through these enhanced partnerships.
