SSP Islamabad Ramps Up Security Measures, Emphasizes Crime Prevention


Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, has initiated a comprehensive review of security protocols, focusing on enhancing checkpoint procedures and reinforcing efforts to maintain law and order in the federal capital.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Raza conducted a special briefing for checkpoint in-charges, directing them to strengthen, organize, and professionalize checking procedures. He stressed the necessity of taking effective and impartial action against suspicious individuals, criminals, illegal weapon holders, and other law violators.



Throughout the briefing, officers were reminded of the importance of vigilance, honesty, and integrity while on duty. SSP Raza instructed police personnel to be fully prepared for any emergency situation, emphasizing the significance of public interaction in building trust with the community. Officers were directed to maintain high standards of discipline and professionalism.



The SSP reiterated the priority of the Islamabad Police to protect citizens’ lives and property, ensuring continuous efforts in crime prevention and law enforcement. He encouraged public cooperation by reporting suspicious activities to the Police Helpline “Pucar-15” or the nearest police station.



SSP Raza reaffirmed the commitment of the Islamabad Police to utilize all available resources to make the federal capital a safe, peaceful, and crime-free city.
