Islamabad, The Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations), Malik Jameel Zafar, lauded the efforts of Islamabad Capital Police officers for their success in crime prevention and control. In a comprehensive review meeting, officials were commended for their performance and were awarded for their service.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting brought together Zonal DPOs, SDPOs, all incharge police stations, incharge ARDU, and incharge AVLU, where the SSP Operations, following directives from the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, evaluated the crime statistics and strategies implemented across the federal capital. The commendation was specifically directed towards the ARDU and AVLU teams for their commendable performance.
SSP Operations Zafar stressed the necessity for sustained vigilance and proactive actions to maintain law and order. He issued instructions to intensify the crackdown on drug peddlers and to begin immediate operations against proclaimed offenders and absconders. Zafar further instructed increased efforts for apprehending suspects in vehicle theft, motorcycle theft, and particularly those involved in murder cases, as well as improving the ratio of case challans and recoveries.
The meeting also addressed the need for a strategic approach to crime prevention, calling for an intensified campaign against beggary, with a focus on apprehending those who facilitate it. SSP Operations directed officers to ensure the security of citizens and their properties, reinforcing the priority of protecting lives and assets.
In his concluding remarks, Zafar motivated the officers to continue their duties with dedication and valor, reminding them of the esteem and responsibility that comes with being a part of the police force.
