Islamabad, In a significant move to enhance security in Islamabad, the Capital Police Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) executed a search and combing operation against illegal foreigners within the jurisdiction of Shahzad Town police station. The operation, led by the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan’s directive, aimed at ensuring the safety of the city’s residents.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, this initiative is part of a broader strategy to conduct similar operations in different areas of the city. The recent operation involved the CTD, Quick Response Force (QRF), and local police teams under the supervision of DSP CTD. A total of 32 houses were inspected, and 64 individuals were thoroughly checked. ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan emphasized the operation’s objective to bolster security across the Federal Capital and urged citizens to cooperate with the police during these checks.
