Interior Minister Briefs Prime Minister on US Visit and National Developments

Islamabad: Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad to discuss the outcomes of his recent visit to the United States and other national matters.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Naqvi provided a comprehensive update to the Prime Minister regarding his discussions with American officials, business communities, and investors during his U.S. visit. The conversations were aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and exploring investment opportunities.

Naqvi also briefed the Prime Minister on the preparation efforts for the upcoming Champions Trophy. The Prime Minister commended Naqvi and his PCB team for their dedication and progress in organizing the event.

In addition to sports-related updates, the Interior Minister informed the Prime Minister about the status of various development projects in Islamabad. The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the pace of these projects.

The meeting also covered security issues, with Naqvi detailing the progress made in operations against human trafficking. Furthermore, he provided an overview of the current law and order situation across the country.
