Peshawar: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, has called for collective action to promote the development and prosperity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During a news conference in Peshawar, Muqam emphasized the importance of unity and proposed an All Parties Conference to address the challenges facing the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, Muqam expressed significant concern about the deteriorating law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, highlighting the sacrifices made by its people in the fight against terrorism. He pointed out that weak governance has led to a decline in business, trade, and tourism activities in the region.
Muqam also commented on a proposed long march towards Islamabad, stating that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have rejected this initiative. He reassured that the federal government remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of its citizens.
