Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry convened a meeting with senior police officers to assess the security situation, operational readiness, and departmental performance in the federal capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting focused on enhancing security measures, improving response capabilities, and ensuring effective use of police resources to deliver timely services to citizens. IGP Chaudhry urged officers to fulfill their responsibilities with professionalism, enhance coordination, and elevate policing standards.

Following the meeting, IGP Chaudhry held an Orderly Room at the Central Police Office to address the concerns of police officers and officials. He instructed relevant officers to address issues promptly, transparently, and according to established procedures. Captain (Retd.) Chaudhry emphasized the importance of addressing the welfare and concerns of officers, highlighting their dedication to protecting citizens.

The IGP also encouraged senior officers to maintain open communication with their subordinates and facilitate their duties. He assured that both serving and retired officers could meet him directly for departmental matters, reinforcing a transparent departmental culture.
