Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry recently conducted an Orderly Room session at his office, during which he addressed the service-related and personal matters of police officers and officials. This initiative was aimed at ensuring the timely redressal of their concerns, in alignment with the prescribed rules and regulations.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP emphasized the importance of the welfare and encouragement of police officers and officials, considering them valuable assets to the force. He reiterated that supporting the force during challenging times and addressing their legitimate concerns are vital departmental responsibilities.
In recognition of outstanding professional services, the IGP awarded appreciation certificates to SWAT commandos who had demonstrated exemplary performance, as well as to other high-performing officers and officials. He acknowledged their dedication, professionalism, and commendable services, urging them to maintain their commitment to excellence.
Additionally, IGP Chaudhry met with Chairman ADRC Tayyab Nawaz Malik to discuss the effective functioning of Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees and their role in public facilitation. He stressed that ADRC committees at every police station should actively resolve citizens’ disputes, contributing to societal betterment.
The IGP reiterated the Islamabad Police’s commitment to officer welfare, the promotion of professional excellence, and providing effective, accessible services to citizens.
