NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Extends Felicitations on China’s 77th National Day

ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has conveyed his congratulations to the Chinese leadership, the National People’s Congress, and the citizens of China on the occasion of the 77th National Day of the People’s Republic of China. Highlighting the significance of this event, the Speaker emphasized the enduring ties between Pakistan and China, rooted in mutual trust and shared interests.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid tribute to the resilience and unity of the Chinese population, asserting that the progress achieved under President Xi Jinping’s leadership serves as a global example. He noted that the year 2026 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, a milestone reflecting the strength of their exceptional friendship. The Speaker reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing this partnership and exploring new areas of cooperation.

Sadiq emphasized the importance of the Pakistan-China strategic partnership, particularly the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), as a flagship initiative that bolsters economic and trade linkages. He stated that the partnership plays a crucial role in regional peace and development. Additionally, he highlighted the significance of strengthening parliamentary exchanges, suggesting that increased institutional cooperation would further solidify the nations’ bonds.
