IG Punjab Meets Families of Lahore Police Martyrs, Provides Key Assistance


Lahore, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with the families of three martyrs of Lahore Police at the Central Police Office. The families of Constable Muhammad Qaiser Shaheed, Naveed Hanif Shaheed, and Muhammad Irfan Shaheed were present. During the meeting, Dr. Anwar expressed his condolences, inquired about the families’ needs, and handed over keys to new houses in modern housing societies to two of the families.



According to Punjab Police, the Punjab government recently released funds for purchasing houses for the families of Constable Muhammad Qaiser Shaheed and Naveed Hanif Shaheed. Dr. Usman Anwar assured the families of full cooperation in all matters, including education and health. He emphasized that the Punjab Police respects the families of martyrs and his office is always open to them. Dr. Anwar also mentioned that Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) are being signed with renowned educational institutions for the free education of the martyrs’ children. The ceremony included the presentation of gifts and souvenirs to the children of the martyrs, with SSP Admin Lahore Atif Nazir, AIG welfare Naveed Ajmal, and other officers in attendance.
