IG Punjab Commends PhD Holder Traffic Police Officer Dr. Majid Ali

Lahore, Dr. Majid Ali, a Lahore Traffic Police Warden, has been commended for his unique contribution to academia and the police force. He is recognized as the first doctor to complete a PhD on the role of the Pakistan Police in promoting Urdu language and literature.

According to Punjab Police, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with Dr. Majid Ali at the Central Police Office to congratulate him on his academic achievement. Dr. Ali, who recently completed his PhD from Garrison University, Lahore, presented his thesis, which offers an artistic and intellectual review of literature produced by the Pakistani police and examines the historical role of the police in the development of civilization.

Dr. Usman Anwar praised Dr. Ali’s significant academic contribution, noting that officers like him are valuable assets to the Punjab Police. The IG Punjab emphasized the importance of encouraging such competent and dedicated officers and officials. He acknowledged the challenges and achievements of pursuing higher education while in service, highlighting that many officers and officials have achieved this unique honor within the Punjab Police.

Furthermore, IG Punjab mentioned that revolutionary steps have been taken to support the higher education of the children of police employees, reflecting a commitment to educational advancement within the police community.
