Hattian Bala, District Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Valley Syed Ashfaq Geelani, along with local dignitaries and residents, paid homage to the martyred soldier of the Pakistan Army, Abid Hussain Bhatti. The visit to Bhatti’s residence in Seri Kakrai included a Fatiha Khawani at his grave to express condolences and honor his sacrifice.
According to Press Club, the Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by member district council Raja Anwar Hussain, member local council Safir Bhatti, journalist Israr Hamdani, Umar Bhatti, and a significant gathering from the area, expressed deep respect for the martyred soldier. Syed Ashfaq Gilani emphasized that the martyrs of the Pakistan Army are the nation’s real heroes and prayed for Shaheed Abid Hussain Bhatti to be granted a high place in Jannat al-Firdous.
In a separate event in the village of Dhani Shahdara, the funeral of the mother of ASI Traffic Police Sheikh Qari Muhammad Saleem was held, led by Qari Saleem. The ceremony saw the participation of notable figures including Muslim League-N Usman Haider, Member Majlis Ameela Sardar Saeed Farabasi, President Anjuman Tajaran Jhelum Valley Faisal Gilani, and others. Attendees included Syed Sajid Hamdani, Sardar Shahid Hameed Abbasi, Anjum Abbasi, Mehtab Mir, Sagheer Javed Advocate, Raja Arshad, Zahidhamdani, Adnan Khan, Tanveer Ahmad Awan, Subedar Sheikh Farid, and Waqar Sheikh. The community came together in mourning and prayer for the deceased.
