Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri welcomed the new Consul General of Qatar, Naif Shaheen RML Sulaithi, to Karachi during a meeting at the Governor House. The visit aimed to discuss and enhance Pakistan-Qatar cooperation in various sectors, including investment opportunities in the province.

According to Press Secretary to Governor Sindh, Governor Tesuri congratulated Consul General Sulaithi on his appointment and discussed the long-standing relationship between Pakistan and Qatar. He highlighted that the relationship has grown over the years and emphasized Qatar’s active participation in relief work during natural calamities in Sindh province. Governor Tesuri noted that Karachi, being the economic hub of the country, offers a favorable environment for investment. He encouraged Qatari investors to consider opportunities in sectors like health, agriculture, and energy.

Consul General Naif Shaheen RML Sulaithi expressed his commitment to further strengthening the stability of Pakistan-Qatar relations. The meeting also included a ceremonial aspect, with both the Governor and the Consul General ringing the bell of hope. Additionally, Consul General Sulaithi visited the Quaid-e-Azam’s room, paying homage to the Father of the Nation, and inspected the items used by him. He also reviewed the powerful Pakistan ration bags and the marquee being prepared for IT courses, reflecting the ongoing cooperation and cultural exchange between the two nations.
