Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) announced that its field offices, including Large Taxpayers’ Offices, Medium Taxpayers’ Offices, Corporate Tax Offices, and Regional Tax Offices, will maintain normal working hours over the weekend of June 27 and June 28, 2026, and extend their hours on June 29 and June 30, 2026. The decision aims to facilitate the collection of duties and taxes.

According to Press Information Department, this directive is intended to ensure that taxpayers have ample opportunity to fulfill their tax obligations before the fiscal year ends. The extended hours on Monday and Tuesday are part of an effort to accommodate increased taxpayer activity and provide additional support during the closing days of the fiscal period.
