Islamabad: Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan, marked the 88th death anniversary of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal by emphasizing the enduring influence of Iqbal’s poetry and philosophy on the Muslims of the subcontinent. Khan highlighted Iqbal’s role as a guiding intellectual force whose ideas continue to inspire nations to this day.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Khan stated that Iqbal’s teachings on selfhood, conviction, and action are crucial for the youth, encouraging them to understand and harness these principles for the country’s development. He called for the younger generation to actively engage with Iqbal’s vision to realize their potential for national progress.
Khan also reiterated Iqbal’s vision of a society built on justice, equality, and human dignity. He underscored the importance of implementing Iqbal’s ideas in practical life to build a strong and prosperous state. Additionally, national institutions were urged to reflect Iqbal’s philosophy in their policies and actions to foster unity and national cohesion.
In his closing remarks, Khan called upon the nation to renew their commitment to incorporate Iqbal’s teachings into their lives, both collectively and individually, while praying for divine guidance in understanding and acting upon Iqbal’s message.
