Islamabad: Charging-powered scooties and e-bikes are infrequently used by Pakistani men, with only 2% reporting their use, according to a survey conducted by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan. The survey results highlight a significant gap in the adoption of these eco-friendly two-wheelers in the country.
According to Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, a nationally representative sample of 680 adult men from urban and rural areas across Pakistan was surveyed to determine the prevalence of charging-powered two-wheelers. The survey, conducted between March 18 and March 31, 2026, revealed that 97% of respondents do not use charging-powered scooties or e-bikes, while 1% did not provide a response.
The survey results suggest that charging-powered scooties and e-bikes remain uncommon as a mode of transport among Pakistani men. The study, conducted via telephonic surveys, has an estimated error margin of ± 2-3 percent at a 95% confidence level. The findings point to a limited uptake of these vehicles, despite their potential as environmentally friendly alternatives.
