Islamabad, Chairman of the Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, met with students and faculty members of the Law Department from the University of Turbat, Balochistan, at the Parliament House in Islamabad. During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of fortifying business and the economy for international competitiveness and highlighted the role of Gwadar as a key economic hub in the region. He stressed the need to promote the corporate sector in Balochistan to attract investments and create a conducive environment for development.

According to Senate of Pakistan, a 35-member delegation from the University of Turbat’s Law Department visited the Parliament House. Chairman Sanjrani extended his best wishes and proposed a visit of the Senate Standing Committee on Law and Justice to Turbat University. He underlined the significance of education and business in bolstering the economy and called for collaborative efforts to harness Balochistan’s rich natural resources. The delegation found the visit enriching, gaining insights into the legislative processes and the pivotal role of the upper house. The visit also included a tour of the Senate Hall and Museum.
