CDWP approves various development projects costing Rs10 billion 

Islamabad, November 12, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Central Development Working Party has approved various projects costing forty billion rupees for the uplift of 20 poorest districts of the country. The approval was accorded in a meeting of the CDWP held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said unprecedentedly, that federal government is undertaking a national intervention to uplift the poorest districts and address disparity in economic development in the country. He said that the main objective of this project is to promote inclusive growth and equitable development through targeted investments in infrastructure and human capital development in the poorest districts of the country.
