Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, in his address at the passing out parade at PAF Asghar Khan Academy in Risalpur, stated that Pakistan aims to maintain friendly relations with all its neighbors and other countries. He emphasized that Pakistan’s peaceful stance should not be misconstrued as a sign of weakness.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the Kashmir issue, asserting that peace cannot be achieved without its just resolution. Congratulating the graduating cadets, he reminded them that they carry the nation’s hopes.
PM Kakar asserted that Pakistan would refrain from participating in an arms race but would continue to enhance its capabilities in line with the evolving nature of warfare due to technological advancements. This strategy is to ensure deterrence against any form of aggression.
He concluded by expressing confidence in the Pakistani Armed Forces’ professional competence and training to handle both internal and external challenges effectively.
