Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Finalizes Hajj 2024 Arrangements with Saudi Ambassador

Islamabad, The Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs, Aniq Ahmed, expressed gratitude towards the Saudi authorities for their unwavering support in providing optimal facilities to Pakistani pilgrims, during a meeting with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al Maliky in Islamabad. The assembly focused on finalizing the arrangements for Hajj 2024, ensuring the welfare of the pilgrims.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, discussions revolved around various aspects essential for the smooth execution of Hajj 2024. The Minister reassured that the preparations for Hajj would be completed promptly, aligning with the Saudi directives to offer additional conveniences to private Hajj scheme applicants.

Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al Maliky highlighted the forthcoming visit of senior Saudi officials to Pakistan by the end of this month, aiming to finalize the ‘Road to Makkah’ project initiation from Karachi airport. A significant inclusion to this year’s Hajj arrangement is the extension of the ‘Road to Makkah’ project to private scheme pilgrims alongside government scheme pilgrims, promising an enhanced pilgrimage experience.
