Lahore, September 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi participated in the CEOs Health Conference organized by the Department of Primary and Secondary Health at a local hotel today. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi while addressing the CEOs Health Conference said that we came for a short time. It is too much, what is the decision to contribute to give relief to the people? He started working for the improvement of the health sector from the first day. As the Chief Minister, it is my duty to work for the improvement of the health sector and it is also my worship. If even one poor person is treated properly or the people get relief, the same satisfaction is not found anywhere.

The conditions of the health sector and hospitals. are not right and in this context it is not right to blame the doctors, the doctors are doing their work and doctors are treating 5 patients on one bed, it is the responsibility of the government to provide health facilities. Thank God that a good team has been found, the whole team worked together day and night in the health department Worked for improvement. Some good results regarding health are in front of you, more positive results will come in some time. He said that the upgradation of hospitals has started which will improve the health sector. We have to leave it is the responsibility of visitors and editors to maintain the quality of the facilities. There are 36 CEOs of Health, 36 DHOs of Health, 39 Principals and MS of hospitals and medical colleges in Punjab, making a total of 150 officers.

If these best officers are appointed, the population of 13 crores can get quality health facilities. If these 150 officers make it their mission to provide the best health facilities, positive results will be achieved very soon. Despite the pressure, we made appointments in the health sector on merit. Regarding the health department, I can guarantee that every officer is committed. The primary and secondary health department is also responsible for anti-polio and poliomyelitis. Due to the hard work of the health department and the administration, dengue did not spread as much as the rains. It is dengue season and we are controlling it, inshallah dengue will not be too dangerous. If Chief Executive Officer Zahilath fulfills his duties honestly and takes ownership of hospitals, there is no reason why people should not get quality health facilities.

In the first 10 minutes of visiting a hospital, one knows whether the administrator of that hospital is good or not. If the hospital administrator completes his duty hours as duty, the result will be 100%. Visited many hospitals 5.5 times and now his condition is much better than before. We have not done anything temporarily but permanently to improve the condition of hospitals. They want such a system where the people have access to quality health facilities automatically. It is of no use if the chief minister, minister or secretary comes and everything gets fixed. Insha God willing, in the next 2-3 months, the hospitals will improve to a great extent, the Chief Executive Officers will work diligently and honestly. Most of you officers are doing well but more effort is required and it will yield results in days. If the administration of the hospitals is good, everything will be fine.
