According to President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Accountability Act, passed by the Legislative Assembly of AJK in 2001 during Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry’s tenure as Prime Minister, was designed to establish a framework for transparency and accountability in the region. President Chaudhry reiterated his support for the Act and commended its significance in the ongoing fight against corruption. He also extended his congratulations to Mushtaq Ahmed Janjua on his appointment as Chairman of the Accountability Bureau, expressing optimism that Janjua’s leadership would further the bureau’s mission.

Karachi, Following the completion of the election phase and the lifting of the Election Commission’s ban, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab announced the initiation of development works across the city. According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the newly inaugurated sports arena spans 62 acres within Hill Park, featuring indoor facilities for cricket and futsal. This development is part of a broader strategy to enhance sports infrastructure across the city, including modernized sports complexes in various areas such as Kukri Ground, Guzri Football Stadium, and Star Ground Landhi.
