Lahore, August 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): The hall was packed with parents, teachers and position holder’s students in the famous hotel of Lahore to participate in the ceremony in honor of the position holders from all over Punjab. The faces of the students were beaming with pride of success. Host Secretary Higher Education Javed Akhtar Mehmood was welcoming the guests. Upon the arrival of the caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the national anthem was played and the ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat was recited.
The students of Government Girls College Samanabad presented songs. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s address was full of hope and praise. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi mentioned a student in his address, who on inquiry said that I would like to grow up and sit in your place. He expressed good wishes and said that I wish that one of these 124 students would sit on the chair where I am sitting. Prime Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared the position holders as official guests and invited them to visit Lahore. Mohsin Naqvi awarded certificates and prizes to the first position students in each board. The participants of the ceremony applauded the students of Multan and Wahari, Kashf Fatima and Ayesha Shaukat, who won the first position in Punjab.
Supervising Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi called the father of both the students on the stage and the father of the two girls is a teacher of the school department. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, after awarding the position holders, talked to the children and inquired about their future intentions. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi made a special photo on the wish of Sargodha Board topping child. Abdullah and Urwa Alam in Lahore Board Science Group, Maryam Noor in Arts Group got the first prize – Science Group Muhammad Ramesh Hussain in Multan Board. Kashf Fatima and Ayesha Shawkat won the first position while Abdullah Nisar and Hafiza Tayyaba Siddiqui were awarded prizes, medals and certificates in the arts group. Shahryar Hussain, Nurul Ayman Lodhi and Iman Fatima in Science Group of Rawalpindi Board while Ghayur Abbas and Jannat Khan got cash prize, medal and certificate in Arts Group.
Muhammad Huzaifa and Hafsa Khan got first prize in Sargodha Board Science Group and Moaz Ahmed in Arts Group. And Zoha Farooq was given cash prize, medal and certificate. Saqleen Mushtaq and Ramsha Hafeez in Sahiwal Board Science Group while Muhammad Rehan Yasin and Iqra Javed were given prize, medal and certificate in Arts Group. Muhammad Ahmed in Science Group in Faisalabad Board. Jawad Haider and Afira stood first while Muhammad Owais and Naveera Malik got cash prize, medal and certificate in Arts Group.
Abdullah, Ali Zainul Abedin and Aman Bilal stood first in Gujranwala Board while Jamshed Ali and Arfa Konqed got prize, medal and certificate in Arts Group. In Mille-Bahawalpur Board Science Group, Muhammad Asad, Jazafiz, Dua Fatima, while in Arts Group Muhammad Ali and Mehwish Nasir were given prizes, medals and certificates. In Science Group of Dera Ghazi Board, Muhammad Asif, Sidra Bashir, while in Arts Group Waqar Kashif and Umama. Kanwal also received cash prizes, medals and certificates
