Synoptic Situation

Monsoon currents are still penetrating upper and central parts of the country and likely to continue during next few days. A shallow westerly wave is also present over northern parts of the country.

More rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Isolated heavy falls are also expected in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the period. Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.

More rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Kashmir, Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Isolated heavy falls are also expected in upper Punjab and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the period. Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.
